Austin’s first Latinx Comic Book Convention (Comic Con) is back! This year's MexAmeriCon '22 will be held in the Black Box Theater with games of loteria on the Zocalo. FREE Admission! ALL ages welcome! The event will showcase Mexican American and Latinx artists who work through the medium of comic books, graphic novels, zines and other related media. There will be an artist alley, as well as interviews and panels exploring topics relating to comics and Latinx Culture. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage face to face with these talented creators!

Chulita Vinyl Club (CVC) is an all-vinyl, all-genre DJ collective whose members are self-identifying women of color. The CVC was formed to provide a safe space in which its members can embrace their heritage through collecting, sharing, and playing music that is culturally significant to them. Since its founding in 2014 the CVC has grown to seven chapters throughout Texas and California.. The CVC, like other all-women DJ collectives, seek to shatter gender barriers prevalent in the male-dominated DJ scene.

Somos un lugar enfocado en entrenar a niños y jóvenes en la disciplina de danza folklórica mexicana. Por medio de la danza folclórica buscamos crear un espacio que promueva entre sus integrantes y en la comunidad un sentido de arraigo y pertenencia a sus raíces mexicanas.
We are a place focused on training children and young people in the discipline of Mexican folk dance. Through this folkloric dance we seek to create experiences that promote among its members and in the community a sense of rootedness and belonging to their Mexican roots.

Performing the original music of their great-grandfather Longino ‘Lonnie’ Guerrero at the ESB-MACC’s Dia de los Muertos festival; the Guerrero Family Tribute Band embodies the rich musical tradition of authentic Tejano music informed by the family’s studies in Jazz, Opera and Classical music styles.
Dozens of recognized Conjunto, Orquesta,Tejano and Norteno performers recorded many of Lonnie Guerrero's compositions in the U.S and Mexico including Los Mananeros de Nuevo Leon, Los Alegres Gavilanes, Rancheritos Del Topo Chico, Agapito Zuniga, Los Paisanos, Little Joe & The Latinaires and his relative Manuel "Cowboy" Donley Y Las Estrellas.

Conjunto Los Pinkys have been performing Texas-style conjunto music since 1992. Over the years, they have played at numerous events- festivals, jamaicas, cantinas, clubs, flea markets and dancehalls all across Texas and around the United States. They've worked in the small cantinas that once filled Austin's East Sixth Street; places like Happy Day's Lounge #2, La Bola de Oro, La Esquina Lounge and also venues on the south side- like Jovita's, Little Mexico Restaurant, The New Chaparral, Antone's and The Continental Club.
